30 days 12,000 blogs $1,000,000

Can it be done? One million US dollars in 30 days using nothing but blogs? You may be thinking I’ve lost my mind but bear with me, this is absolutely possible and worth shooting for.

You may have seen the fifty thousand shirts project. One man selling t-shirts at $25 each hoping to reach a profit target of $1,000,000 which will then be donated, via World Vision, to China Earthquake Relief. That kind of money can really make a difference. A life changing difference for many people a lot less fortunate than you and I.

It got me thinking.

What if I donated a sum of money to the China Earthquake Relief for every blog that was started by Upstart Blogger readers in a 30 day period? How much money for this worthy charity could be generated if we all worked together?

The figures soon began to look attractive. It’s no secret that for every customer I send to AN Hosting I get a nice kickback commission. If I donate all the money I receive in commission in a given period and attract enough publicity a real difference could be made.

So, here’s what I’m going to do – In the next 30 days, from today, June 16th, to July 15th 2008 all profit generated by my AN Hosting link will be given to the World Vision China Earthquake Relief.

What you need to do – Sign up for AN Hosting at $6.95 per month. Use code UPSTARTBLOGGER and you’ll get 3 months for free. This 3 month discount does not change the amount of commission I get so don’t worry. You will get wonderful hosting including all sorts of great extras like one click Wordpress installs and a free domain name.

If you are looking for a good reason to start a blog, or to change hosts, then make this your reason.

You can’t lose. You get hosting and the commission from the sale goes to a worthy cause. Everybody wins.

In case the cynical amongst you wonder what is in this for me here is the answer. Publicity, and the knowledge that I’m doing something very worthwhile.

It’s a tall order. I need to sell around 12,000 hosting accounts to raise $1,000,000. Please help me get this news out by Digging and Stumbling this post using the buttons below and doing anything else you can think of to make this a real possibility.

12,000 blogs. $1,000,000.

It’s that simple.

Ready to grab that hosting account and start a blog that will really make a difference? Click here and sign up for AN Hosting at $6.95 per month. Use code UPSTARTBLOGGER for 3 free months.

    I’ve submitted it to Digg.

Unfortunately, I have already got a web hosting account… although since it’s for a good cause, I may decide to get another for this and use it somehow; $6.95 per month is not on biblical proportions.
