It’s been three months since WPDesigner.com was sold to it’s current owner and three months since the site has been updated.
It is, to all intents and purposes, a dead duck. Floating upside down in the blogosphere sea. I’ve heard so many stories about it’s owner, both old and new, that I am now of the opinion that nobody has any idea what is going on. In fact, so much time has now elapsed that I am genuinely concerned about Pawel Ciszewski.
Is he ok? Is he even still the owner?
The moral of the story is don’t buy a successful blog unless you have the time and inclination to maintain its success.
My frustration, which I am aware is probably apparent in this post and my other posts about this matter, is partly because of the fact that I was, at one point, happy to bankroll a more suitable purchaser.
Buying a blog is a big deal. The more successful the blog the bigger the deal. And WPDesigner.com was a very succesful blog with bags of potential.
If anyone out there has any information about the whereabouts of Pawel Ciszewki then please feel free to share it in the comments below.

That’s one mystery that I’d like solved, and sure there are a lot of different theories, but I’m of the opinion that it’s all a marketing ploy by Small Potato himself so he could travel.
Then of course, sweep back in triumphantly and “save the day” on WPDesigner.com
I wish I could create the kind of buzz that WPDesigner.com has on my blogs so I could travel the world.
The only thing I know is from Michael Castilla of WPCandy - he spoke to Tung on the phone, who was really disappointed it turned out this way, and said if after a year (?) people wanted their $5 back from the themes club, he’d refund it.
I’d have to dig out the link if you need it. It may have been on twitter or WPCandy.
And yeah, it would be nice if the current owner could at least get someone else in to try and rescue whatever’s left. Or you know, sell it again.
