A couple of days ago I launched a competition to win a premium five letter domain name complete with an existing revenue generating blog. At the time I mentioned a second domain would be up for grabs before the week was over.
And here it is. The second domain. And in keeping with everything else this week I’m giving it away for free.
This time around I’m not looking for links, although they are always welcome, I’m simply looking for the person who has the brightest and most original idea.
The domain up for grabs today is spamchow.com.
I’ll leave the comments open for your thoughts and ideas until May 30th at which point I’ll choose the best pitch and transfer the domain to the winner.

ok here’s my pitch: this blog would be entirely about fighting spam. It’d have blogging tutorials on how to defeat spam with links to the hottest anti-spam technologies and plugins on all platforms. i’d post spam fighting hacks and techniques sent to me via email. i’d investigate every aspect of spam and post for all to see. once a week, i’d post something akin to ‘the most ridiculous spam of the week’, where commenters would submit examples of the spam they’ve gotten and then i’d put that particular spammer on blast - sans links of course. we would eat spam for lunch.
sorta like a lifehacker/digg for spam. all to be humorous, of course.
SpamChow.com can imitate johnchow’s blog design. Write opinion on what johnchow wrote! :)
I would use it to host a disposable email service (to prevent from getting spammed).
Greets:
Thanks for doing this. I’m in the process of designing a Wordpress Multiuser site of my own since I’ve spent the last 2 years or so moderating the wp.com and mu.wordpress.org support forums. Since Akismet is too expensive for that platform ($500 a month for the pro license) and Dr. Dave doesn’t want Spam Karma used on the mu platform, I’ve been looking into bringing back the old wp-spamassassin plugin. Almost all boxes have spam assassin running for their email so I would think this would be a workable concept.
Thanks,

Spam blogs are killing the blogosphere. It’s time we fought back. With all the scammers like John Chow out there this domain could be used to highlight their stupidity and dishonesty. I’d like to make it a place where people could review the so called pro bloggers and separate the real money makers (like you) from the liars and cheats (like the Chow clan).
what about a script that publishes those ‘poetic’ spams you get sometimes?
This is one silly idea. I’ll make a blog about food (spam) and chow in our native lingo means inviting someone to eat.
I know im late but i would make a blog about everything to do with spam in a can! From using it as a fire starter to cooking gourmet meals with it. Maybe even spam sculpture sent to me via email which is spamchowin@gmail.com. It would be spamtastic
I would probably make an Adsense revenue sharing Website and be a great friend of Google. This would probably make more rich”John Chows’”(Ofcourse Cows too) and probably spam his name(I think you know Chow started blogging just to rank first for his name in Google)
That’s my idea!.What do you say???
