I've seen something similar before (it would appear "steampunk" has become something of a subculture). Personally, I'd rather spend $800 – $1000 on a actual antique.

That isn't to say I'm unimpressed. Product design has become so stale – it's nice to know there are still real artisans out there.

Just the sort of thing Captain Nemo would have had in his office Im sure.

Also saw something similar to this on CIS New York a few weeks ago, linked up to a time machine. An old style typewriter keyboard hooked up to a time machine/compmuter and LCD.

Very neat in it's own way, but way to fancy for me to be frank. It's just so pretentious and anyway, unless iSkin have a silicon keyboard cover for it I ain't interested. :0)

But good stuff though... I'll keep with my new minimal Apple Bluetooth keyboard thanks very much, now this DOES look cool next to my 24inch iMac. One bit of kit that has actually made a world of difference to my working day, not to mention the amount of space it saves. Worth a look, also works on PC...

My goodness me, that's one very spiffy-looking keyboard. But I doubt it would go with the style of the other computer equipment - it might look out of place.
