COLOURlovers is one of my favorite color resources. I’ve written about it before (here and here), but COLOURlovers has just been reborn and the site is better (and more beautiful) than ever.
COLOURlovers is the ideal place to satisfy your colour lust, seek inspiration, or find the perfect palette for your web design. An active community (over 6,000 COLOURlovers as I write this) is busy mixing hex codes with a colour picker tool from ColourMod (over 80,000 colours so far) and cobbling together colourful palettes (over 36,000 and counting). And it’s developing into a full-featured resource, with color related news, articles, interviews, and a new Colour Cover Models feature that tracks the hot colour trends from popular magazines like GQ, Wired, and Playboy.
Some of the new features are still in development, so don’t be surprised if you stumble on a Coming Soon message. But all the essentials I loved in the original version—browsing, creating, and voting on colours and palettes—are in full swing. But be warned: COLOURlovers is addicting.
COLOURlovers: Fight for love in the colour revolution.
