Compare Screen Type with Typetester

Typetester

This handy online tool lets you compare three different typefaces side by side, displaying font variations (regular, bold, italic, etc.) of sample text (”Lorem ipsum…” or your own text). You can choose from a safe list (fonts available on both Mac and Windows systems), from lists of Mac or Windows default fonts, or any of the fonts available on your computer. Popup menus let you experiment with different sizes, leading, tracking, alignment, word spacing, decoration, color and background. When you’ve found what you’re looking for, click on the Tools tab and get the CSS for any column. Typetester is like a color picker for type.
