Google made another page rank update in the last few days which left a number of bloggers, including some high profile ones, crying over their keyboards. They blogged and complained about how selling reviews and other similar traffic tactics had resulted in google penalizing them as if it was unfair or unexpected. Who do they think is listening to their complaints?
Do they think that Google will suddenly put their page rank back just because they have blogged a few vitriolic phrases about how Google is suddenly the bad guy?
Just like in real life, moaning, whining and complaining on your blog is not attractive. The people reading your blog don’t care what your page rank is, they just care about whether or not they can find what they were looking for. A high page rank won’t make your content any better and a low page rank won’t stop a reader from becoming a subscriber if they like your blog. And since your readers don’t care what your page rank is you can be sure they don’t want to hear you complain about it if it drops.
Google page rank is a system that, as far as I’m aware, is designed to reward websites that have proved themselves to be of value. Buying links or selling reviews is just the sort of thing that can potentially mess the system up by allowing websites with little or no real value to appear valuable. Did these bloggers really think that Google wouldn’t put systems in place to stop them from benefiting from tricks like this?
People don’t visit blogs because of anything other than their content. If the content is good then an audience will grow. Incoming links will then grow organically and Google will start to take notice.
Look after your content and your page rank will look after itself. Try and cheat Google and you are just playing snakes and ladders on an increasingly snake heavy board.

Well said I’m fed up the last day’s all my RSS feed;s are talking about the same thing, who cares if your PR went from a 1 to a 3 or a 4 to a 2!
Do you have something people want to read and do they find value in it these are the most important point’s to consider!
The only people who care about PR are the ‘money making online’ crew!
In short,
NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT!
do you have any proof? examples
