Too bad Ashley (about your personal Twitter accounts) but like the ancient Chinese proverb says, “fall seven times but stand up eight”, anyone who has the integrity and character that you have will not be silenced and more importantly, will endeavor to persevere.

BTW: The fact that you are planning to extend the $30,000 bonus indefinitely is just ridiculous! I have been marketing online for years and I have NEVER experienced anything like this.

I am angry that anyone could have the power to pursuade Twitter to shut you down – for no good reason. And while it would be great to be a revolutionary and fight it – I agree with you that you have to choose your priorities – and the reason behind what you’re doing online and why.

I haven’t found it as as simple as you make it out to be make money online – but admittedly I haven’t had the devotion to it I need. Luckily I have someone willing to pay me to promote their business on Twitter and Facebook. Now I have a good excuse to sink some time into it! They’re paying me in profit sharing – so it’s a low risk for them with potential high gain for both. I’ll let you know how it goes – as I know many ppl are interested in the Rocket making money promoting things other than itself.

and here i was thinking that that whole thing was over and you had just been quiet on twitter for the last few days. i’m surprised that Enormous got suspended, too. but there’s a reason why this blog is Upstart BLOGger and not Upstart TWITTERer (or Tweeter or other things equally as horrid). using any sort of public, hosted platform means being at someone else’s mercy and subject to the whims of The Man.

You are one of the “good guys” and it is a shame that some people are critical and ultimately jealous of your insane success. You are adding to our world, making it better, while they are just taking away from it, making it worse.

I am glad to see that you are taking the high road and I am sure you will be rewarded for it in the end.

Hi Ashley,

I’ll be sorry to see you as a personality dissappear from my following list on twitter but as you correctly mention: Twitter is but one (valuable) piece of the social networking sphere. Take it away and there are still multiple other ways to get your message across.

On the other hand: If it weren’t for Twitter, I wouldn’t be here commenting on this post – that is testament to it’s power.

I’m sure it’s not great seeing your links with friends, family & business acquaintances taken away like that but if your not going to be given the opportunity to share with interested people via Twitter, then I hope you will throw in some personable posts along with the info you provide on marketing through upstartblogger.com
