Yesterday’s announcement about The Inner Circle managed to polarize opinion in an alarming way. Many bloggers emailed me for more information and already three out of the five discounted positions have been allocated and reserved.
Furthermore, I’m in discussion with an established blogger who has been blogging since 2005 and has around 2,000 unique visitors every day. One we’ve reached an agreement over price they will bring a healthy portion of traffic to the network.
But for all the positive feedback and developments there were a few calls for me to help newbie bloggers a little more.
So that’s what I’m going to do today.
I’m offering two bloggers the opportunity to be a part of The Inner Circle for free. I will supply the domain name and the hosting. All the successful applicant needs to do is blog. The chosen newbies even get to keep all the money generated by the advertisements that they run on the blog.
This really is a free lunch. You get hosting, a domain name, and membership of The Inner Circle to make sure you have all the traffic you could ever want.
Since I am trying to build a network encompassing a wide range of blogs and an equally wide range of topics, there are a couple of niches that I would like to see filled. The niches I am looking to fill are popular music culture and film and television reviews.
So, if you are a newbie blogger who wants to be catapulted into an exciting new blog network and make money at the same time now is your chance. To be considered for these opportunities please write a blog post on your existing blog that you feel would make a good post for the niche of your choice, popular music culture or film and television reviews. Be sure to link your post back to this post at Upstart Blogger to qualify for consideration.
Please be aware that only serious bloggers need apply. Although this is a great opportunity for someone to jump to a reasonably high position on the blogging ladder you will be responsible for creating content and maintaining the blog.

Well, you know what I think about the naysayers……..I’m surprised that I haven’t seen a slew of entries yet. :) Classy way to handle the situation though.
This is a great idea. I keep saying I want to blog more about music, so I’m throwing my hat into the ring.

If I needed the juice I would be all over this - but I have juice, and half a bottle of 12 year single malt scotch to wash it down.
