I am very happy to announce that I have completed the first stage of my Getting Things Done journey. All my stuff is now collected in one place waiting to be processed. Even though I knew that there was a lot to get through I was genuinely surprised at the volume of stuff that needed collecting. It was hard work but worth it. There is already a great sense of progress and achievement and I am more confident tonight that GTD will work for me than I was yesterday. Things are already starting to feel a lot more manageable, even if they are, in reality, just physically in a different place.

Ashley, I too remember the first time I completed the “brain dump” and had everything in one pile. Congratulations! It is a good feeling to know that you have everything setup for processing.
Ironically, I am in the midst of a GTD overhaul for myself at the moment. Starting to use new software to help manage the onslaught. Best of luck making the system work for you.
