Blogging, when done correctly, can make you rich. That’s an undisputed fact. Get enough traffic to your blog and the world can be your oyster.
I think we can all agree that if you put in the work, write good content and promote your blog professionally, your readership will grow and grow. Success will follow as long as you keep up the hard work.
However, some people prefer to go for a get rich quick approach to blogging, and, in some respects, I can’t blame them. Especially if they need the money in a hurry. And, with the blogosphere becoming more and more noisy it can be increasingly tricky to stand out from the ever growing crowd.
With money, and even fame in some cases, potentially within reach, how far would you go to push your blog to the front of the traffic queue?
It’s too bad that there are so many “get rich blogging” sites out there now. However, it’s not unexpected, it was only a matter of time. The ebb and flow of marketing…remember those envelopes that used to come in the mail that would have you send a dollar to every name on the list, then remove one name and replace it with yours, then send to 200 people?
Get rich quick blogs…same thing.
