Interesting story about Dennis Lloyd, founder of iPodLounge, on MacNewsWorld. iPodLounge started as a hobby. Now it’s ranked No.2, just under Apple, when you do a search for iPod on Google. The site gets over 10 million page views a month. The best part about this story: the whole thing began as a hobby, and the site grew without any advertising at all.
I’m on the lookout for stories about blogs that were launched on a shoestring by an entrepreneurial individual and have grown into a business success. Please post a comment if you know of any.
