And it seems that since my introduction last night a few people, well, quite a few in fact, have been interested in how much I paid for Upstart Blogger. The usual email in my inbox this morning was joined by two new types of message. “Congratulations” and “How much did you pay?” were the dominant email subjects of the day.
So, how much did I pay?
$14,500.
Fourteen thousand five hundred US Dollars.
That’s one less batch of emails I’ve got to answer tomorrow morning.

I remember when you bought the site! I thought that was a bit corny and iffy at the time from a naive purists perspective. Now i’m back and see where you’ve gone with it. Sure as hell didn’t have a 7 pagerank when you bought it, or i don’t think Ellis would have parted at that price. If your income generating statements are true, you’re making like 1,000% ROI now… nice move.
