The time has come to announce the winner of the MacBook Air.

Many people entered this competition, but, unfortunately for me since I have to be absolutely fair about this, not as many followed the rules.

I asked for people to write a review of Upstart Blogger and place a link back to this blog. Some of you did this, some of you simply added a link but no review.

I have received many comments and emails from those of you who did write reviews voicing your concerns about how your chances of winning had become diluted by the quick linkers. Furthermore, a few eagle eyed commentators found some links from spam sites.

Clearly, it would not be fair to include the spam sites in the competition. It is my opinion that it is only fair to allow those entrants who wrote reviews to be entered into the draw. And that is what I have done.

So, without further ado, I am very happy to announce that the winner of the draw, picked at random from an empty biscuit tin, is Harry Jordon, from Pennsylvania, blogger at Passionate Blogs. I have contacted Harry directly and his MacBook Air will be ordered from the Apple Store Online on Monday morning and shipped directly to him.
