Is it possible to get 400 unique daily visitors and Google Page Rank of 4 in just 10 days?

What do you think? Is it possible to build a brand new blog and generate four hundred unique daily visitors and a Google Page Rank of four in just ten days?

Short answer, yes.

Long answer, yes, if you are able to generate enough publicity and back links to drive that highly accelerated level of growth.

The new blog that I have been promoting serves more than one purpose. It allows me to develop my own personal project whilst, at the same time, using that same project as an example of how to grow a successful blog.

The strategy has been strikingly simple. To begin with, at the start of December, I began linking to the new project from Upstart Blogger. This immediately gave the new blog a PR7 link and a large injection of traffic.

But the next step was, perhaps, the most important. I used Micropatronage and, as a relatively small part of that Micropatronage, offered something in return for incoming links. And it worked. Links came in from different sources and the traffic and link authority climbed steadily.

Those links are still continuing to grow in number. Yesterday my stats showed over four hundred unique visitors for the the new blog. Today, so far, the count is just under four hundred and fifty. And the page rank is, at the time of writing, four.

Anyone can do this. Anyone at all. It’s simply a case of getting a strong link to push things as hard as possible and as quickly as possible, then follow up with a link generation strategy.

As I approach my first anniversary here at Upstart Blogger, now more than ever, I know just how powerful and effective blogging can really be.

what i wonder is,backlinked sites’ contents have to be relevant to those high pr sites?
    or this doesn’t matter?
    what is the logic?
    Thanks

    >Anyone can do this.

Yes. Getting a PR4 is rather easy. Even without massive traffic. You need just a few incoming links and some decent content. The hard part is getting PR to five or six.

Good luck with your new project though. Here is mine: modula.

Yep, I’d love to get to 5 or 6. I’ll have to aim for that in 2009.

Good for you. I see why having a high PR rank is good. If you could link to a blog and give the blog of a PR 4, what would be the effect of a PR 9 or 10 linking. I think the linking would give the blog a PR of 5 or above.
