The Freedom Chair is my choice for where to plant my posterior. Most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. I've sat on the Aeron, and it doesn't hold a candle to this chair.

I know, it seems pricey but it’s worth it. Or you could go to an outlet site like officedesignsoutlet.com and find a slightly used one for a lot cheaper.

$1500 for a chair?! Sure, it’s beautiful and a perfect addition to any home office but most people don’t have that kind of money to spend on a chair. I’ve recently been looking to buy a chair with a bit more back support however considering I’m finding it hard to make ends meet these days I’ll have to make do with my $30 blue plastic chair from IKEA. Every hour I have to stop what I’m doing and adjust the height because it won’t stay put!

It looks awesome but what about the fact that it has no arm rests? Would that be a negative?

It’s been around for awhile, but the Herman Miller Aeron is great. I can sit through 18 hour work days and not notice it, but my back hurts after a 2 hour meeting in the conference room (on other chairs).

The think about the Aeron is the MESH – it conforms to your body, so no pressure points, AND breathes so you don’t sweat.

I recently switched to a yoga ball and my back seems t be happier for it. I’m not 100% used to it yet, so I go half days on it. So far I’m very happy.

Love the look of the chair. Quite different from anything I’ve laid my eyes on thus far. One possible drawback? It looks expensive.

I used to work on my old iMacG5 but just one month ago I changed for the new MBP 17″ but I wanted to work at home in more comfortable way so I bought an elevator from Griffin and a wireless keyboard from apple so far has been amazing. I have a bad posture so has been difficult to find the exactly high for my desk and chair :( and usually I get neck pain :(
