I am very pleased to announce the launch of the Upstart Blogger advertising program. A simple and effective way of getting large of amounts of fresh, high quality traffic to your blog.

In the last few months traffic to Upstart Blogger has risen steadily and is now in advance of 3,000 unique visitors every day. Every single one of those visitors could see your advertisement and visit your blog via a nice clean PR7 link.

In order to make sure that the quality and integrity of this blog is retained I have decided to limit the number of advertising links that I will make available initially to five. Each advert will take the form of a heading followed by a small paragraph of descriptive text and will appear in the sidebar. The heading will link to your blog as will any keywords you choose to use in your paragraph of text.

All applications will be considered but I will only accept advertising from blogs that I feel will be of interest to Upstart Blogger readers. Although more income could be generated in the short term from simply throwing the doors open to everyone I feel that such a short sighted approach would damage my traffic and credibility in the long term. Furthermore, the successful advertisers will all benefit from a more considered approach since the traffic will remain highly focussed and of high quality.

Since I am confident that a link in the sidebar of Upstart Blogger will generate a good income for an advertiser it is my hope that I will build a long term advertising relationship with a small number of bloggers.
