Long time followers of this blog will be aware of it’s history and its recent change of owner. When I took over Upstart Blogger I issued a statement outlining my plans and targets for the year ahead. That plan is still being followed and today I would like to clear up some potential confusion about the Upstart Blogger Blog Network, the multi author blog and blog expansion program.

The Upstart Blogger network has one member and ten pending memberships. This part of the plan has taken a little longer to develop than I would have liked. If you have applied to become a member of the Upstart Blogger Blog Network then you will be hearing from me in the next seven days, at which point I will announce some new members and some new benefits.

Many people have applied to be bloggers for Upstart Blogger projects, either as part of the blog expansion program or the currently under construction multi author blog project, Infinite Critique. There are a few blog posts here at Upstart Blogger, all requesting applications for these new projects. In order to avoid confusion I have set up a permanent page entitled Bloggers Wanted. You’ll see the link at the top of the page in the main menu.

Over the next six months Upstart Blogger will launch a number of new blogs, many of which will require bloggers, details of which can be found on the new Bloggers Wanted page.

These are exciting times and Upstart Blogger is expanding fast. Today, Upstart Blogger has a Technorati rank of 72 and traffic is climbing steadily. Sometimes, and often because of this rise in traffic, it is tricky to keep all the plates spinning, especially if a Wordpress upgrade decides to throw a spanner in the works and wipe everything out for twelve hours.
