Genesis is a free Wordpress theme that mixes swiss typography with a traditional blog layout in order to create a hyper readable environment. Large typography, set in Myriad Pro that degrades through Helvetica to Arial for those with typographically challenged systems, sets the scene and pushes your content forward.
Muted metallic shades complete the look creating a vibe that is both restful and contemporary.
If you want people to read your blog without superfluous distraction then this may be the theme for you.

Hi, Ashley. Would like to express my gratitude for the way you seem approach your designmission; I see lotta beautiful things coming out of your standingpoint. Just attempted to install the genesis-theme on my not so busy blog http://blog.rxst.no, but alas something seems to go askew. Will leave the theme uot there for a while, no biggy, but as I say, something is wrong, and even though I do not rule out foul play on my part, I would like to point this your way. What i did: downloaded and unzipped the theme from yuor page, installed it on my server through Cyberduck (my ftp) and went through wordpress dashboard to activate it. THe theme in question is the white genesis, not the red one! Anyhoo, they all look great. Signing off now, take your time, no need to rush anything. Cheers, thomas

Love the design, I also wanted to point out I had a error while loading the theme. It had to do with theme-widgets.php was not registered or something like that. I’ll keep trying to figure out what’s going on with it.
When all works can’t wait to start blogging with a great theme.
