There are a ton of great photographers out there, and many of them blog about their work. Some of them simply share images, others get into the nitty gritty of being a photographer, sharing insights about their work flow, business tips, inspiration sources, etc. As a photographer, I enjoy following these blogs and find myself gaining inspiration, knowledge and confidence.
That’s why I started a blog called Photographers Who Blog. It’s full of posts profiling great photographers with great blogs so others can get inspired. I feature big names like Chase Jarvis (commercial photographer and creator of The Best Camera iPhone app), Zack Arias (music/portrait photographer) and David Alan Harvey’s Burn Magazine (which is full of up and coming documentary photography work). But I don’t leave out the little guys with big talent like Nancy Ray (awesome Raleigh wedding photographer) and Shawn Rocco (who has a blog with amazing cell phone pics).

If you’re a photographer (or appreciate good photography) and are looking for some inspiration, then check out Photographers Who Blog. If you like what you see, be sure to follow @Photogswhoblog on Twitter and tell your friends on Facebook and via email where to go to get inspired by great photographers who blog.
P.S. Coming soon to the blog will be a series on starting your own photography blog including advice on choosing a theme, hosting your images, setting up your feed with Twitter and a bunch of other helpful tips.
