It’s time for me to put my money where my mouth is. Recently I highlighted a blog that was for sale via auction, suggesting that it would make a great purchase for someone who wanted to buy into a high position on the blogging career ladder. I even said that I would buy it myself, at the buy it now price of $10,000, if I had more time to commit to the project.

It occurred to me that there are many blogs currently for sale at around the $10,000 mark, generating a good income, but capable of generating much more with the right level of commitment.

It’s no secret that I paid $14,500 for Upstart Blogger, a good solid sum of money. I’m happy and comfortable with the process of buying a blog that is generating revenue and working to take it to the next level.

With all this in mind I am offering venture capital to any applicant who wishes to buy an existing income generating blog that has substantial growth potential. The details of each deal would be unique and specific to the blog in question, but, as a rough guide, I am happy to invest cash in return for a percentage of the business.
