Woodshed

Jazz musicians have a term for it. The time spent away from gigs honing their craft in private. It’s called the Woodshed. Once you are in it you can’t come out until you are ready.

Upstart Blogger needs a fresh coat of paint. The current design that I am so fortunate to have inherited is too good to just throw away in favor of a radical new image. The typography is clean and the simple aesthetic stands out in a sea of clichéd blog design. If you think I’m being immodest, please remember that I didn’t design this blog. It was like it when I got here.

I hate working weekends but sometimes things just have to be done, when they have to be done. On Monday I will post a screenshot of the Upstart Blogger realign. Realign not redesign. Nothing to shake the status quo, just enough to refresh the eyes.

Now, into the Woodshed. To all those of you lucky enough to have free time this weekend enjoy it. I’ll see you on Monday.
