I am not a webmaster only fan who has decided to take his Russian translation of WordPress templates.
In short, my blog was created based on the Upstart Blogger Futurosity Magazine.

i have problem :/ . I can’t make so many columns as You have here > http://www.upstartblogger.com/wpthemes/ ( I mean : Blog Design , News , Features , Interviews etc ) . I was created many categories and posts , but I have only one column ( this first ) . Anybody can help me ?

Just want to say that I love this futurosity design. I think I found an older one version but it was the ‘minimal look’ I was looking for. I chopped it down a bit to look less like a blog and more like a webpage. I am going to fill the white space below the title with my logo once I have it finished. But for now, it look quite cool regardless.

I am not a programmer but have been making my own websites since about 2000. This theme is quite easy to manipulate- with a lot of trial and error (This only took me a day to finish. I had all the text/images from my last WP theme.)

I used the Voluptua theme before I switched to this one. Something about this theme makes me love it.

Wonderful theme…however, I think it needs to be made more clear how to set up the categories. If it wasn’t for one of the posts above, I would never have figured out to grab the id number from the URL after creating a category. I don’t think very many people would figure that out. Love the design though, and thanks again.

there is a little browser compatibility issue with the theme comment form in IE8

here is a quick fix just add it to the syle.css

on the bottom

When you go there you don’t see the “Software” and “Guides” Categories. Why?

BTW, i found your site yesterday and digg the themes. clean and elegant and under the hood it’s very tidy. Has anyone else had the problem of posts dated this year not showing up?? And one more thing, how can i change the favicon? I would like to have my own branded icon working but doing it the conventional way does not work and i can not find where you control this. doesn’t seem to be in the header.php

However, I’ve run into a small bug. When I tried to validate the XHTML, I got some errors… I thought I had cleared most of them until I tried checking out the post-image functionality. I get the_title() function inside php tags in the HTML markup. For now I just left the alt attribute to blank.

Just FYI – I’ve been using Futurosity and love it. The layout has helped me focus on a just a few main categories for the web journal. It’s nice how the confines of the design are quite freeing for the content.

I encountered the same problem. You have to physically change the home.php file under the Theme Editor. Each category has a number assigned to it which you can discover by writing some posts under a particular category and then checking the URL when you select that category.

How do the categories work on the main page. I can’t get any other categories to post except for uncategorized? Any ideas what I can do to fix this? or Am i missing something… couldn’t find anything in the FAQs

Howdy. I’m having a very difficult time getting the categories to display properly on main page. Initially, only posts under the default “Uncategorized” would display, until I made the change in home.php that to fix the same problem at Anonymous had. I changed the Category=1….stuff to Category=Music and so on with all my categories but the page is still displaying the “Uncategorized” category in all six columns and the two most recent posts instead of displaying it under the appropriate category.
